INVEST IN A SET OF TAX DISCS
Most people simply threw their tax discs in the bin, once they had expired. Plenty have survived and you may even find one or two somewhere in your home. However, it is highly unlikely that you will have a complete set from any particular year of issue.
This page contains full sets of tax discs. All are genuine originals, in good condition, and have a chance of rising in value.
Ever since tax discs were abolished by the British Government in 2015, they have become more and more collectable. The oldest discs are those from the first year of issue (1921) and are really hard to find and are now selling for around £1,000 each. Tax disc collecting is known as "velology".
